Restructure...
This is a generic term for any major
change in structure. However, it is mostly used to define a
programme of change which achieves fairly major changes in the
organisation of a company, by changing the management and/or the
share ownership structure.
Restructuring is an obvious step for
organisations where management is top-heavy, or the business has
substantially refocused, or where totally different management
competence is now needed.
Restructuring is also an appropriate tool for enabling an
organisation to move to a more commercially or customer-focussed way
of working.
